again saw more in an hour at Barb's house than I see in a
week at mine. She is in a rural area and I live more near
the city. I think she left her luck behind when she went
South... and I must have found it... After doing the
wren shoot, I took a little ride to the park.
At first I thought this was a doe peeking around the
tree at me.

Thank God you live in a part of the world where a wilderness still exists for wildlife. Excellent photography.
Patty and I will be celebrating 53 years of marriage on July 12th. Think of it as a long-term relationship.
I have invited bloggers to offer suggestions on a gift for me to give Patty and the list would not be complete without your ideas.

Ah - the young prince is neautiful!
I am so glad that you received Barb's luck :-) These are wonderful photos and I enjoyed them all very much!
Thanks Abe... I still live close enough to the 'wilderness' to get some nice widlife shots..
Ahh yes young prince! They are beautiful! .. Helen.
bird girl, this was my first young 'buck' this year. yippee and corn probably does make the difference for these deer.
Thanks Marsha!
Love the deer photos. I can see them off in the far distance, just cannot get close enough for a photo. Don't want them any closer though, for the same reason this gardener was upset when they found the result of the visit. Just wish I could see them up close somewhere else. May need to take a ride over to Cades Cove soon, you have given me inspiration.
