There are always flowers for those who want to see them
Henry Matisse
Yesterday morning right after the refreshing cooling rains
I headed out to my yard to see if I could
Macro some flowers. I just recently learned how
to make the pictures LARGER than life on the blog and that
is what Macro does too. Brings things up close and
personal....so have a look. I had so many it was hard
to choose which ones to post.

The Rose of Sharon is one of my favorite and I have 3 different colors.
White, two shades of purple, and pink
This is Jerry my black cat.... made an interesting macro
This actually was the inspiration for all the flowers.... I looked out my
kitchen window and saw this white Rose of Sharon with just a glance
of sunlight on it's beautiful petals and dark crimson throat & stamen.

Love the polen on the bees. Both photos. The tomato looks so good, makes me want a tomato sandwich.
STUNNING!
I like Ben, the dog, best. I like the rest of your photos but I love dogs and any dog will do. We had dogs all our lives until a couple of years ago. It was so hard to go through putting her down that my wife said that was it. No more dogs.
What wonderful shots of the raindrops on the blossoms, so striking! Ben & Jerry are pretty handsome too! Are they named after ice cream?
thank you thank you thank you to all of you!!
Marsha: yes icecream factored in when naming the dog & cat!
very nice shot with the bee covered with pollen.
