I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel to find things to
post. Wasn't this a strange place to see a Cardinal?
While I wait for a red light to turn...I look over and
there on the guide wire I spot it.
Is this just a finch? I'm still looking for a Pine Siskin
There you go....you can see them now I saw a bluebird on a wire... yippee
and this is one of my favorite reds
I think he must be the most photogenic bird

Great post! I love the windmill shot - I know we have to do this, but I worry about the little migrants that will fly into them...
For scraping the bottom of the barrel these are some great pics of our feathered friends...love the red-bellied woodpecker!
birdlady: Upon looking up wind turbines I was pleasantly surprised to find out they don't kill as many birds as you may think. go here: http://www.awea.org/faq/sagrillo/swbirds.html

That red-bellied woodpecker is nice. I like it a lot.
I am doing something different on my Gordon, Ohio blog. I set out to photograph and describe every house in the village where I was born.
