As we started home on the roads that were familiar the threat
of getting lost was put aside. As we get older that seems to be one of the things we do best. Get LOST! Although we always make it a happening almost as if we planned it! Anyway, I have the privileged passenger seat so I can snap away as we go cruising down the highway.
There was some beautiful scenery...a hint of fall in the foliage
There were a lot of Great Blue Herons out for the day
Speaking of birds:
Back at Sapsucker Woods in Ithaca I caught this bird..
I think it must be a warbler but don't know which one

They decided to cross the road and we were cheering them
on..... hurry hurry... this is a busy road right on a turn
It was a statue that someone
had carved and placed in
the crook of the tree. What a nice note to end my trip.
I hope you enjoyed this
jane & Barbie adventure as much as we did.
Stay tuned for another one coming up
in the not to distant future....

Jane & Barbie Adventures are so much fun :-) Beautiful scenery on your trip home and I bet it was a double take seeing the bear statue in the tree.
Wonderful, wonderful! (Is the bubble machine on?) My very favorite of these (maybe my very favorite of all your photos that I've seen) is the second song sparrow. That's a perfect shot - it needs to be framed and on the wall!
Marsha: Yes! we were backing up and gazing into that tree and then laughing about it!
Helen: Thank you! That photo was a very favorite of mine too.Maybe a card in the making.
Thanks bird girl... such fun we have!
Looks like you had a great trip. The bear almost looks real.
Beautiful pictures!! I have really enjoyed looking around your site!
Take care
