Let us permit Nature to have her way....
She understands her business better than we do.

Of course I don't want to believe that quote. I was and am so saddened by the departure of my beloved Kestrels. I keep looking in the tree and the nest and on the poles.... but they are gone. April 28th was the first sighting and July 15th was the last. The next few posts will be dedicated to showing you some of the wonderful pictures I have had the privilege to capture during the Kestrel nesting.

Two boy siblings displaying a little brotherly Love.
This was the last boy who kept coming back to the nest
looking for food, and waiting waiting..... right up until
the day they all left. He always looked sad to me.

Please do post bird girl... Never enough Kestrel pictures. It's so rare to get what we did with this nesting experience. They were absolutely delightful. I would fall asleep at night with visions of them floating through my mind.
I loved hearing about your kestrels. The "brotherly love" photo really touched my heart. They are just such beautiful birds!
Oh, you will miss them so...but what a priviledge to ahve them there...can't wait to see every shot....and thank you for sharing.
I have a feeling they will be back. A new momma or poppa will take over the site.
They are all so cute but I love the brotherly love shot!
