Pictures and Possibilities......

Did you ever take a picture for no reason....
let it just sit there in your picture folder....
It has no story, just a picture.... but when you go
back and look at it... there's possibilities after all.
Here are a few pictures with some possibilities....

Dizzy? Is he? or has he broken his neck?

Not a he at all....
It's a female American Goldfinch and she looks up as
if to say.......What?

The blue of the Blue Jay looks good against the
brown of the brown fall leaves...

Two for the price of one.... I was shooting the deer
but got the groundhog too.

The keen eye of the Mockingbird hiding among the berries

click for a close up of this daddy long legs...

A pair of Ring necked Pheasants in a perfect setting...

Red Tail Hawk on a pole... hunting

when it flew away and an opportunity for a BIF opened
up ... I got it!!

A Bald Eagle takes flight...

If you click on this photo of the moon taken out my
living room window... you will see the colored leaves..
Possibilities... and a surprise to me. I was just admiring
the moon...didn't expect to get the fall reflected there.

And last but surely not least....I was on my home from work
when I saw this shot... I drove to a higher destination so I
could take it. This old hymn came to mind...

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior made me whole;
My sins were washed away and my night was turned to day,
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!

Beautiful pictures, beautiful hymn. I think nature makes this world in which we live so gorgeous, and your pictures always reflect that. Thanks!

Beautiful photos as always ;) I love the last shot of the hymn illustrated. I always think "calendar shot" when I see the sky like that.

What a neat series of photos..I always love looking back over photos taken as a "just because"..some times they turn out to be the best for no other reason but it was a moment in time you thought interesting..
Love the moon shot..and bird antic shots always capture my attention too!

That Daddy long legs is amazing! Some things you just never inspect too closely, but you did! Thanx!

All are amazing but that daddy-long-legs is spectacular! And I don't even like spiders!
