Spider Web by Night

My Granddaughter Ali was here over the week end
and she and her friend Koby called me outside to the
porch to take a picture of a spider weaving it's
web. It was quite the challenge to take the picture in
the dark ..not being able see anything in the viewfinder.
I used the flash.

The kids went out into the yard and were playing around
when I was taking the spider....and I realized they showed
up in the web!! How cool was that.. No! I didn't
photoshop... this was right out of the camera

So, I had them pose for a couple more pictures.. oops
the spider in blocking Koby's head!!

Now they are getting creative...all the while the spider
continues to weave it's web..
Let's zoom in ... Isn't that just so cool?

When I looked at the photos...I said I think these
are 'blog worthy' haha.. Hope you liked them
as much as I did!! Should have saved them for
Halloween...

It sure looks like you had a fun weekend. I noticed, in keeping with the fact that you like birds, it would appear there is a tiny birdhouse hanging in the spiderweb. I wonder how many hours that spider had spent weaving that web?

How great to spend time with your grandchildren too!

By the way, I like your new "Fall" header.

Janice,
That IS a birdhouse hanging in the tree beyond the web. Good eye, girl! Thanks!

I just love surprises that show up on the photos after they have been taken...who would have thought your flash would have imaged the kids so nicely!!
Spooky!!!
