Chihuahuas on Vacation

My daughter and her husband went on vacation and I 'sat' the two chihuahuas. I have a dog already and a cat so that makes a houseful!! My dog, Ben, is shown in this photo with me and the chihuahuas, Layla and Noodles.


They made themselves right at home on a velvet pillow.,,,, snugly soft to sleep on.

Macy P. Noodles, on the left is 1 yr. old and Layla Jane Tater on the right is 3.
They may look similar but they are very different in size AND personality.

One thing they both love is corn on the cob. I froze corn while they were here and so I gave them a treat...

I decided to make 'life a beach' for the dogs while their mommy and daddy were
at the beach.... So I created this scene where they could sit on the chair and sip a
'doggie' martini... (secret put candy or hotdogs in the straws)
Noodles took right to it....

Layla was more cautious and really didn't want to play.

In the middle of the week my son came to visit, and they just love him!

Then I played the same game (hot dogs again) and had the flower smelling contest.
Noodles always jumps right in...... sniff sniff sniff

Now on to the mums.............

Ben got in on this one too.

Of course, Layla had no part of it....

Towards the end of the week temperatures dropped and I had get out their shirts...
chihuahuas get cold easily...


Breakfast time....

Even though the chihuahuas didn't get to go to the real beach...(check out the
Beach in the Dominican Republic where my daughter went), I think they had just as much fun at grandmas.
