What a difference a day makes

When you plan a vacation weather is always a factor in what you see, how you feel, and what you can do.  On the second day at Shenandoah National Park we woke up to fog, fog, fog.  I have been up there when this has happened and by noon all is well.   Not on this day.

As we drove away from the room it looked like this.
I tried to make the best of it and take some photographs  of the misty fog covered trees rocks and flowers

I liked the way everything looked.  Driving wasn't so much fun but the limit of 35 keeps everything moving slowly

A left over pink azalea was a pretty sighting

And Look at that!! The deer don't stay in on a foggy day either.

The overlooks when you could see to pull into one looked like this...

When we were there in 2014 I took these pictures of the fog rising from the valleys which was beautiful and amazing

If you look you can always find beauty in God's Creation!

The fog may have obscured some scenes, but it still gives a special beauty.I love those foggy shots.
