Variety is the Spice of Life...

Hear ye, Hear ye, says my mad chickadee....

My week of pictures was so varied and special I just
had to share a few (maybe many) with you. The oranges
put out for the Orioles brought different faces to the feeders
and I got some 'tree shots' in the natural setting that
everyone seems to love. So let's begin...

The Red-belly was caught with his tongue sticking out! Click it to see it.

Along with the rain came the Grosbeak to the shepherd's hook.

One beauuuutiful Oriole at the feeder. Love these colorful
beauties and the music of their song is delightful!

Two catbirds have been slurping their way through the oranges.

A female Cardinal with ruffed up feathers..

I could look at these birds all day and listen to their song.
At least this Oriole is brightly colored unlike an earlier post
of the 'washed out' one.

My pair in the 'natural setting'

Look who I caught in the same tree... Female Grosbeak.

A wet Mr. Cardinal during the rain.

I was thinking the cat might have gotten the chipmunk, but
today I was proven wrong. He came out to check out the
pansies I planted in the teakettle. Looks like he may have
eaten the flowers, they're missing.

And here is my 'Mad Chickadee' I loved this capture.

To end my week, I went to visit my dad and in the
fields by his house came across this piebald deer.
It's so hard to get a shot with all the sticks and trees in
the path of the camera. It just doesn't want to focus.

As I moved along in the car slowly, looking for a place with
less between me and the deer, I snapped away. She watches me
while I watch her. (I'm guessing a doe)

Finally she stands still and I get a decent shot.

I love to see these deer, because they are so different.

She gets bored with watching and grooms a bit and then...
Off she walks.

Perfect ending to my week.
I will be away for the week end....
A 'jane and barbie' adventure in Central Park, NY.
Look for a post on Tuesday if I can plow through the editing
and pictures by then. Have a grand week end everyone!!

Everyday is an opportunity to make a new happy ending.
To God be the Glory!
