By the Glow of the Setting Sun

Daytime sightings remain pretty much the same old....

She's in the tree...

He's on the lightening rod........

scratching and looking bored

She's on the lightening rod.......cute and cuddly

But later that evening... around 7:20 my friend Rose and I
were returning from dinner and decided to check out the
Kestrels.... She had not seen them.
Aha! There she is on top of the building...

Looks like she's looking for her honey...
where are you sweet cakes?

OH My Gosh!! Here he comes!!

What happened next is just a crying shame... He
landed right on top of her.. doin the 'wild thing' and
off again in seconds... I missed it!!!! I was parked in the
ally and a car was coming and the camera wouldn't
focus... It's pretty dark.. Sunset was 7:38 and it is
already 7:24.

Anyway... I'll call this the aftermath .. he moves to the pole and
she is still in the 'wild thing' position by the time camera
decided to co-operate. My friend is yelling.... didja get it??
He's on her right now!!!

Heck no! I missed it!! Shucks.. (that isn't really what I said)

She looks up and says: "Was it ok for you?"

He lovingly replies .."Would've been better if those
girls weren't pointing that thing at us again!!"

Then immediately she flies to the tree and starts eating
the offering that he must have brought before the
trist!! Where it was I do not know..I didn't see him
bring it unless he dropped it on the roof earlier or
left it in the tree.

Now, the sun is almost down.. and a soft red glow is
lighting her breast as she eats

Good Night my Kestrel girl... maybe tomorrow I will
catch you and him again and actually get the pictures.
