When I saw this yellow bird streaking through the air I
couldn't believe my eyes. I have never ever seen a
Warbler of any kind in my yard.

Too bad it was so far away, I had to crop these to death
Then he landed in the gravel on the driveway

Hey thats great...what a surprise!!I think you have some good shots there even if you had to "crop then to death" ; }
We have alot of different warblers here ...I'm sure happy for you that one came to visit you...I bet" and I'm not a betting person : } " there is a least another one around!!
What a little beauty! So glad you got to see it and even get pictures.
Hope you have another happy surprise today!
Very cool! great shots! I always see the same types of summer birds over & over, not too many new ones - finches (house, purple, yellow and indigo), cardinals (we have babies!!), blue jays (come to eat outside cat food), sparrows (all kinds), titmouses (or is it titmice?), downy, hairy & red-breasted peckers (for the suet), chickadees (little tuxidos), grackels (for the cat food, too) - did I miss any? It's always fun to see a different bird in the yard.

what a treat! I always think of July as a boring month for birdwatchers--but not in your yard! How lucky you were looking.
I enjoyed your blog=
