While watching a heron on the opposite side of the road we could hear a hawk crying over and over. Listen to the video and then scroll down for the pictures.
I've been listening to those same screeches myself for a few weeks. It was BG who told me that young hawks do indeed make that sound. How fun that you captured him on video!
Yes it is and good for us that he was or we would have completely missed him!
